http://www.bloglines.com/public/deb-lplate is my Blogline account. I found the registration process tedious and changed from HB's instructions. Such is the nature of the web. I don't really see this as part of my personal life - but professionally I can see there are uses.

Well, the divorce is progressing, and our patrons are now being introduced to the idea that the shared catalogue with Yarra is coming to an end. It's amazing how quickly the months have passed. It's much more than a year since we learned of the separation of the Yarra and Melbourne Services. As staff we have already gone through much change but our patrons haven't really seen that. Now comes the changes that will effect them.

Well I have now used flickr. In order to get there I had to reopen a long unused Yahoomail account. That's not taking talking about the gmail account that I opened to open my blogspot account. So many accounts!

I created it (not that it was difficult) to remember my visit to the Guggenheim exhibit at NGV. I wasn't moved by much of what I saw, but Warhol's photo version of the electric chair did make me see his work in a different light. Week 2

It's week 2 of my Web 2.0 learning project. As I read in someone else's blog today - Now I'll have some idea about what online activities my kids get up to. I never write a diary so I don't see blogging as a ongoing activity in my life - but I could be wrong?

I love to cook and have found numerous recipes on the 'net. http://www.epicurious.com/ is the home page of Bon appetit and Gourmet magazines and I have watched it grow and develop over the years. It has a wonderful recipe search interface and a fantastic personal online recipe box that I think is pretty cool.

First Post

I've heard about Blogging, even read quite a few but never thought I would be doing one. So here's a photo of my dog that I have uploaded all in the name of learning. I am taking part in Play the Web 2.0 initiative from SLV. Here are the principles that the learning is based on:
